Mulberry Bush Consignment Website

We’re proud to announce the launch of a new website for Mulberry Bush Consignment. Mulberry Bush Consignment organizes consignment sales in the Wichita area targeted to mothers and parents. They came to us wanting a new website with a fun look that provides visitors information about upcoming sales as well as ways for consignors, vendors, and volunteers to register for upcoming sales. Since many of the Mulberry Bush Consignment sales are for children’s clothing, toys, and home items, we contacted local artist Jesse Graber to create the illustrations of children and the mulberry bush elements that were used throughout the site.

We encourage you to check out their website and learn more about upcoming sales here: www.mbcsale.com

Port-a-Probe Website Launch

We’re excited to announce the launch of a new website for a company that produces vacuum grain samplers here in Kansas City. GVS Ltd. manufactures the Port-a-Probe, a vacuum grain sampler. Their product line is growing and they realized they needed a new website to draw in new customers and reflect the changes in their product line. Because GVS is trying to target grain storage companies and elevator operators, we thought it would be fun to design the entire website around the look of three grain silos.

With much more detailed information about their products and multiple ways for visitors to get in contact with GVS, the new website will help GVS grow as they expand their business.

Check out their website today to learn more about the Port-a-Probe vacuum grain sampler!

The Next Step in SEO

Here’s a great video explaining the basics of Google’s latest search engine algorithm update (Panda).

I think the general direction Google is headed in is great–as designers we’re happy to know that our sites will not only be judged by their technical aspects but their aesthetic appeal as well. I’m sure there will be some rough patches as they work to figure this out, but I like the direction they’re going!
