FHD in the Wichita Business Journal
While I’ve been working here in Kansas City for a few months now, we figured it was finally time to “officially” announce our Kansas City location to the public. After hearing about our Kansas City office, a reporter from the Wichita Business Journal gave us a call to get some more detailed information for their write-up about our expansion to Kansas City. Check out the article here to learn more about our expansion to the Kansas City area!
Our New Location

Come check out our new location sometime!
Flint Hills Design is exploring new territories. Adding new locations. Meeting new people. Eating too much barbecue.
Well, I guess I’m the only one eating too much barbecue. I moved to the Kansas City area at the beginning of the August and after a few weeks of searching for the right office space, Flint Hills Design is proud to announce that we have a new location in Kansas City! I’m working from an awesome collaborative office space in the heart of the Crossroads Arts District near downtown Kansas City. We’re excited to expand into the Kansas City area, as it will allow us to more easily meet the needs of our clients in the Kansas City, Topeka, and Lawrence areas.
Being new to the KC area, we’re anxious to meet new people. Do you have any friends, organizations, or companies in the area that we should get to know? Whether or not they’re interested in building a new website or expanding their marketing efforts, we would love to meet them. Let us know!
And remember to check back often for updates about life up in Kansas City, marketing tips, and maybe an occasional barbecue restaurant recommendation!
Ziggy Fins Released for iPad!
Today we’re proud to announce that our first mobile game is available for iPad!
Ziggy Fins is a fast-paced single-button side-scrolling game with lots of fun achievements and challenges to figure out. You play as Ziggy, a young sea turtle trying to get away from the great white shark. The goal is to make is as far as you can before the shark catches you. The green arrow boosts speed you up, while the rocks, coral and jellyfish all slow you down. Tapping the screen alternates the direction you swim.
The gameplay is pretty simple, but it’s addicting! We hope you enjoy it!
We’ve had a great time making the first version of this game, and hope to have versions for Android tablets and phones as well as iPhone and iPod Touch out soon.
Please download the game, try it out, and let us know what you think. We’d love to get some more reviews posted on the App Store right away!
