Search Engine Optimization Case Study
We know that most companies don't have extra money laying around that they can simply throw towards SEO efforts and hope for good results. That's why we use proven SEO techniques and methods built around monthly monitoring and tracking. The following case study is an example of an SEO campaign we started for a company early in 2011.
The company featured in this case study is based near Kansas City and relies heavily on their website to draw in quality leads for their sales team to follow up with. We had found that their organic search traffic had been bringing in better leads than their paid directory listings or online advertisements so we decided to develop a basic 3 month SEO campaign.
Organic Traffic Increase: +67%
Here you can see the increase in traffic that the SEO campaign generated. We began optimizing pages within the site during January, resulting in an immediate traffic increase. During February and March we began increasing the number of referral sites and backlinks pointing to the company's website. *Note that December is included to provide a reference for previous traffic numbers.
Lead Generation Increase: +70%
While generating more traffic was great, generating quality leads was even more important for this company. Here you can see the number of contact form submissions (marked as "Goals") generated during the SEO campaign. Contact form submissions were up significantly during and at the end of the SEO campaign compared to the month before the SEO campaign. *Note that December is once again included to provide a reference for previous contact form submission numbers.
